Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelations 3:20)
Thank you for reminding us that it is so easy to enter and be part of the Lord’s family.
On another note, I have a booked called, “Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table.
That’s a great title, Sandra. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for sharing the book. ❤
If your interested, it was written by Pastor Louie Giglio.
I heard him speak on this very topic and it was dynamic. You shutter to think about the enemy sitting at your table.
Quite some time ago, I faithfully prayered for the taming of my tongue. Before a miracle took place, our advocate was a frequent guest in our home. He ate with us and even felt comfortable watching TV in the comfort of our home until one day I took a drastic decision.
By praying constantly and holding my tongue, the evil one has completely vanished. He is no longer a companion and is long gone.
My marriage is wonderful and my husband even dances and calls me his sweetheart.
I pray that he will accept Jesus as his Savior.
Sandra, that is a powerful testimony. Thank you for sharing that. I’m so happy for you! Praying for you and your husband. ❤
One of my favorites…thanks for sharing, Gail.
Mine too, Jill! Thanks for reading.
Amen. Have a blessed day! 🙂
Thanks, Melissa! Blessings.
When I was in 6th grade, this was a Bible verse I had to memorize. And my grandmother always had a picture on the wall of Jesus at a door knocking. So I associate the verse with the picture, and thus fond memories. Thanks for sharing this reminder. I am so glad to know that we just have to open the door! 🙏🙌
Bridget, my granny had the same picture. She also had a picture of an angel guiding two children across a bridge. Remember that one? Yes, I’m so glad I answered his invitation!
