And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him (1 John 4:16 KJV).
Last year was one of the busiest years since my children were small. Between doctor appointments and family responsibilities, I struggled with writing. I was mentally exhausted and longed for the days when I sat outside with pen and paper, writing whatever came to mind.
Thankfully, my prayers did not go unanswered. During the holidays, I was able to get away from the noise of life. It was a gift to my weary soul. I took photographs and penned several poems in my journal. Although I’ve written songs and poetry, I’ve never called myself a poet. Most of my meanderings are tucked away in my journals.
But as I wrote one poem, I realized we only have one chance to give our offerings back to Him. As the verse says, “the hour grows late.” With that truth in mind, I’m sharing my thoughts about God’s love for me.

Love is
Liberating
Forgiving
Transforming
Sustaining
Enthralling
Everlasting
God is Love.
