Backyard in July

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; For the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. Psalm 116:7 KJV

I hope you are enjoying your summer. Do you have a to-do list you’re working through? I have several projects I need to finish before starting another. But alas, you know it doesn’t work that way. A to-do list is like a to-be-read list. You keep adding, and it keeps growing. So try not to work too hard. Take a break and enjoy the summer.

I found this quote and thought it was the picture of July here in Georgia.

Nothing compares to the backyard during the summer.

  1. Gail, I love it! I have been enjoying those afternoon rains we are getting here in Ga. Reminds me of Florida where I was born and raised. 🍉.🎉

    • Good afternoon, Michelle! Yes, the poem describes both states. Heat and lightning. Thanks for reading, sweet friend. Hope you get to relax this afternoon. 😊

  2. I try to make a “Chore & Writing” list every day except Sunday. Don’t always get everything accomplished, but when I do, it’s a great feeling. 🙂 (I also include some relaxation and fun time when I can.) It works for me!

  3. My “to-do” list is different every day. Some days, the list is too long and has to continue to the next day. I’m thankful God provides rest when I need it. 🙂 Have a Happy July 4th and a wonderful week!

  4. I can really relate to the growing to do list. Sometimes it seems like I add two and only delete one.
    Thanks for the wonderful message.
