Countless Blessings

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. Psalm 40:5

His works and thoughts toward us cannot be numbered. Think about that.

There are over 31 million seconds in a year. How many blessings do you think you received last year? If you are like me, you listed several in your journal. But what about those you don’t see or hear in those seconds? I’m pretty sure those blessings would fill a journal or two. So, with that in mind, do you think we have a reason to praise our God?

Unexpected Blessings

I had an extra reason to give thanks when I opened my door one gray morning and found this beauty. Nothing kept her from enjoying her Creator’s offering scattered on the ground. I love when deer pause and look at me. She allowed me to take several shots before leaving.

New Year Blessings

I’m not a Word of the Year kind of girl. But this year is different. As I pondered the word faithful, I began to think about God’s faithfulness to me, and how I can be faithful to Him. I’m enjoying the songs He has given me to study. I can’t wait to share!

  1. Good evening Gail. I love your photos. Deer are the most graceful of creatures, both in action and demeanor. Your word is one to carry you through every mountain and every valley. Praise God! Still tossing around some words for 2022. May His peace be yours. In Christ, Julie

  2. I love your word for 2022. What a faithful Father we have. As He has been faithful to me, I have no other choice than to be faithful to Him. That comes through trust during this difficult time I find myself in. I hear him saying “Take heart, daughter.” Blessings in the new year, Gail.

  3. Jesus is very faithful and helped me get through another difficult year.
Last year I added several more Journal. I have my basic prayer and praise journal. I think different types of Journaling can be very beneficial in remembering to praise the Lord for everything that He has done for usm

  4. Beautiful post. I look forward to hearing more on that word. Mine this year is “grace.” What a wonderful Father we have Who loves us so much, He gives Grace to the Faithful. ❤
