Fire by Linda Rodante is the third and last book in the Warfare Series.
In Fire, a friend from the past joins Reese and Katie in their fight for freedom and justice. Together, they face their hardest battle as they go head to head with gang leaders and unseen forces.
Patriot is a man hiding from the past. When a friend is threatened by a leader looking to reorganize his old gang, Patriot must come home to protect those he loves, including Chloe Swearingen.
As an ER nurse, Chloe doesn’t have the time or energy for a relationship. After saving a gang member from drowning, she is caught in the middle of a war and a relationship with a marked man.
This is the third and final chapter of this series, and it was well worth the wait. While being introduced to new characters, the reader becomes better acquainted with old friends from the previous stories. The emotional side of this story was relatable. Through the lives of her characters, the author showed love, compassion, and prayer can truly make a difference. I think it’s Rodante’s best!
I recommend Fire to anyone who loves Christian Fiction, Suspense, and Romance!
