Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
Good morning, dearest reader! This weekend we celebrate a glorious event. The resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! To celebrate, I want to give one of my commenters a Kindle ebook, Women of Easter, by Liz Curtis Higgs. All you have to do is tell me what you plan to do to celebrate.
I will announce the winner Thursday, April 13, at 12:00 eastern.
Thanks to all those participating in the giveaway. With the help of Random.org, we have a winner…Melissa Henderson!

Yum! Sounds like fun, Shannon! Blessing to you! β€
We are going to attend our youngest son’s church, because he is on the worship team. We are really excited to go there, and to listen to his pastor. Afterwards, we plan to eat at Lamberts, where they throw warm rolls at you if you want one. It’s always fun, if the wait isn’t too long.
Sounds fun, Becky. I love to hear worship teams on Easter!
First, hubby and I will attend Easter Sunrise services at Historic Polegreen Church site. Outdoor services in the forest with the message and watching the sun rise. Beautiful music, too. Then, we will share time with family. A meal and wonderful fellowship while remembering God’s love for us.
Outdoor services and sunrise? And family! Wow! That sounds wonderful, Melissa.
Happy Easter, Gail! My daughter is coming home and we’ll have Sunday dinner with her and my mother-in-law. Unfortunately, I’m sure what’s on the menu yet–other than deviled eggs. π
Make that “not” sure what’s on the menu.
Woohoo! I know you will be happy to see your daughter! I’m happy for you!
My family and I will attend church, do a meal together with extended family, and have an Easter egg hunt. π
I miss those days, Stacey! We will be in church and lunch. But gone are the days of egg hunting. In fact, this will be my first Easter without my son being home. He is now living 10 hours away!
