Rainy Days

Rainy days should be spent at home with a cup of tea and a good book. ~ Bill Watterson

Your Turn

I’m reading Only the River Runs Free by Bodie and Brock Thoene. Thoene is a new-to-me author, so I’m excited to read this used book store find.

Now, your turn. What Christian Fiction story are you reading?

  1. Brock and Bodie Thoene are among my very favorite authors. They have written so many wonderful book series. Enjoy, rain or shine!

  2. You know I’m a coffee drinker! The rain is snow here. We haven’t had this much in years. Cabin fever led me to Mom’s box of books. One of her favorites, but a departure for me–I’m reading historical novel, All Things New by Lynn Austin. I’m enjoying the story while sipping coffee and watching the birds on the feeder.

    • Good morning, Betty! What a great way to cure snow fever! I haven’t read any of her historical fiction. I have read her biblical fiction. I LOVED Chronicles of the Kings series. Also her Restoration Chronicles. The first was about the kings of Israel, beginning with Hezekiah and ending with Manasseh. The Restoration series covers Ezra and Nehemiah. Happy reading! 😘

  3. A cup of hot cocoa for me, please. More Than This by Staci Stallings, I’ve read before but it a sneak peek was given in her book I just finished, And the Greatest of These is Love, and wanted to read it again. Some books are worth reading more than once.

  4. I agree but would rather have coffee while reading a good Christian book.

I’m now reading, ‘Forward ‘ by Dr David Jeremiah. It’s so inspiring.

    • Good morning! Yes, I prefer coffee, too. I enjoy Dr. David Jeremiah’s books. Thanks for sharing his book. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for commenting.
