Thankfulness

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalm 100:4 (KJV)

Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts.

Henri-Frederic Amiel (1821-1881)

  1. You were indeed fortunate and I imagine extremely grateful for watching out for you.

I actually have a Gratitude Journal to reflect on the things that I’m grateful for.

    • We are truly blessed. I think writing our blessings in journals is a great idea. During hard seasons the passage can remind us of God’s faithfulness. Thank you for commenting! Have a blessed week! 🧡

  2. I’m always thankful to read about all the wonderful helpers: People choosing to do good. There is always hope. Also thankful to hear you and your town are recovering. God bless.
